Aleksander Ceferin, the new UEFA President
Slovenia's Football Association President, Aleksander Ceferin,48, has been named the new UEFA president after defeating Michael van Praag, Dutch, at the UEFA's congress today.
Aleksander got 42 votes while van Praag got 13 votes. He will succeed Michel Platini, who resigned after he was banned from football activities last year.
West Britain hit with flooding and tornadoes while South East heat continues
Roads and supermarkets in the were all affected in the severe flooding, with trains flight and football games drastically altered.
Sink holes were formed in Manchester and school were force to close down and hundreds of homes where without power and also tornado strike in Sheffield.
While South East struggled to sleep following the hottest day of the year, which saw Gravesend in Kent soar to 34.4C. Many people took to Twitter to complain about their inability to sleep.

Chris Brown refused to stand up for National Anthem for the occasion which was a charity basketball game and 9/11 on Sunday.
Tank, who sang the American anthem, urged the crowd -- including those that was protesting to stand in honor of the 3,000 people who died during 9/11. Mr Brown who stood on the hardwood, glued himself. He was cracking up with friends as people around him were seen standing.

A man hanged himself after losing his boss money to bet
Mr Uchenna, who is in his early 30s hanged himself in his room along Abak road in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, after he lost #22, 000 to sports betting.
It was gathered that Uchenna who was a constant sports gambler with Naija Bet, took the said amount from his boss with the hope of paying back when he wins. According to his roommate, Ifiok, Uchena has been lamenting over after he lost the money and it got him to a dreadful state of mind.

About 13 people lost their lives after a 5.7 Magnitude earthquake hit northwestern Tanzania.
At least 200 got injured when the earthquake struck near Nsunga town Saturday. According to Daily News Tanzania.
It happened near the shore of Lake Victoria, the US Geological Survey Said. The Shakes spread as far as western Kenya and part of Uganda, both shared the waters of lake Victoria.

Abolarin Akin Jeptaph, a 300 level sociology student of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), wrote a letter to the management asking for the admission to be made void. In the letter he sent to the school management (as seen above), he got admitted to the school with WAEC papers he got through examination malpractice and as a new man in Christ he cannot start his career in a faulty foundation. A MAN BREAKS WORLD RECORD FOR FASTEST SPEED ON SKATEBOARD - Video
A Santa Cruz skateboarder, Kyle Wester recently broke a world record for fastest speed ever recorded on a Skateboard.
Last Monday, Kyle West reached a stunning 89.41 miles per hour.
Santa Cruz Skateboard shared the video of the record-breaking Skate in Colorado
Kyle said he was anxious at first but as he got at it he stayed calm and focused.
He also said that he is not satisfied with the record and want to triple it someday.

This was the beginning of a new me, the process of change, redemption ,salvation or simply put , Getting closer to God. My daughter was born on the 3rd of March 2002 . 5 months and 2 weeks of pregnancy. She was premature. I had just finished my overnight or 2nd job as a bouncer in a club in Germany. She weighed 790grams, not even 1kg.
On seeing her tiny structure inside the incubator , I cried like I never cried before. I asked God , why , why me ? After crying out my heart , I realized only a miracle could save her . She is the reason till today , why my faith in God is so strong . I laid my hands over her and prayed. I did not know what to pray about , but I prayed my pains onto God and begged God not to allow my sins / punishment for my numerous transgressions be passed unto my little girl. I made a vow to God . 3 days later I went and paid the vow to my Church to be passed unto the poor and needy . My Pastor prayed with me. I prayed that my daughter would leave that Hospital without complications hence the vow/ deal with God . My daughter is 14+ years old now , straight A student , speaks 3 international languages already , and she left that Hospital without complications what else can I say . My pain as I saw it then was actually God's way of drawing me closer to come to know him and have faith in him to prepare me for the movement that was to come . This was the day that the destiny of Judo Movement was redirected from waywardness back to the narrow path of Christ #tbt #Godisgood #judomovement
